The "Pokemon Card 151" set, officially revealed during the Champions League 2023 tournament in Japan, is a unique collection that pays homage to the original 151 Pokémon, arranged in Pokedex order. This Japanese set is set to release on June 16th, 2023, and includes the comeback of the long-absent Kadabra, who hasn't appeared in the Trading Card Game (TCG) for 21 years due to a legal dispute. The set also introduces a new Alakazam ex and Mew ex.
This series is designed as a “Strengthening Expansion Pack” set, akin to previous subsets like Battle Region, Dark Phantasma, and Pokemon GO. In this collection, Bulbasaur starts the lineup as card #001/165, with Mew ex concluding the set as #151/165. In total, the set contains 165 cards before secret rares, offering collectors a comprehensive journey through the original Pokémon roster
